My life is rapidly changing this year in a few ways: I’m graduating from university in Seattle in a few months, I’m turning 22 in August, and I’m moving back to Europe permanently after living a little over half of each year in Seattle for the past decade. Europe is my home, I’m from Poland, but I widely consider all of Europe to be my… Read More
My Latest SSSS Experience…
My latest SSSS experience was… actually totally fine and rather normal. I’ve had an interesting last week, I decided to fly to Cancun on Tuesday night to meet up with some people there and booked Seattle to Los Angeles to Cancun with Delta for under $200, one-way. I was also upgraded to First Class on the Seattle to Los Angeles flight thanks to my Alaska… Read More
Book Etihad A380 First Class For 35k Starpoints!
The Etihad A380 First Class Apartment is arguably the world’s best First Class. End of Story. I mean when you have a separate seat and a bed.. inside of an apartment on an airplane mixed with delicious food, amazing service, and a SHOWER… luxury travel doesn’t get much better. I was lucky to have flown Etihad’s A380 First Class Apartment from Sydney to Abu Dhabi… Read More
It Costs HOW Much to Renounce U.S. Citizenship?!
Due to the results of the recent election in the United States (and the actions of the new president tyrant as of the past two weeks), many are looking to move abroad (something I recommend) and start new lives outside of America. Many of those who hold dual citizenships (an American one and another one) are now looking to exclusively renounce U.S. citizenship and permanently move elsewhere…. Read More
Review: Alaska Airlines Premium Class (Seattle to Cancun)
Early January of this year, Alaska Airlines introduced an Economy Plus experience, Alaska Airlines Premium Class. The enhanced section of the Main Cabin offers 4 more inches of legroom, priority boarding, a complimentary snack box, and free alcohol. Alaska Airlines Premium Class is available on select Boeing 737-800s and -900s, with upgrades to Premium Class beginning at just $15 USD. Mileage Plan Elite Members are… Read More
Avianca, a Star Alliance member, has a very interesting and creative frequent flyer programme, LifeMiles. While the airline has a strong presence in South America, they are otherwise not very globally recognised. They do have a fantastic Business Class product on their new Boeing 787s and offer convenient routes and connections for those flying to South America. Avianca’s LifeMiles is unique because they do not… Read More
As mentioned millions of times before, Lufthansa First Class is my favourite way to fly. There’s just no other airline that offers such a consistent experience in First Class – both on the ground and in the air. Lufthansa First Class is usually expensive as it costs a number of miles and also most often you’ll pay fuel surcharges (if not, you’ll pay a lot… Read More
Have I mentioned that I L-O-V-E miles and points yet?! Even if sometimes they are incredibly frustrating or confusing to use, there are times when it really does take 30 seconds to find the perfect routing at the perfect price… saving thousands of dollars. Where do I begin? I mean it is really simple, actually. I’m planning a weekend trip from Seattle to Cancun sometime… Read More
Grüezi! Last Thursday I had the privilege of flying SWISS First Class from Zurich to Los Angeles on HB-JND, one of SWISS’ brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flight was absolutely incredible and the new First Class product is miles ahead of SWISS’ A340 First Class, and also even a bit better than SWISS’ A330 First Class. I redeemed 85k Miles and More miles two days… Read More
Happy 2017! Should I fly Lufthansa or SWISS First Class? The first major question of the year… We are less than a day into the new year and the future so far is looking bright! As I mentioned before, 2017 will be a y-u-u-g-e year for me as I plan to move back to Europe in less than six months (after finishing university in Seattle)…. Read More
