After spending a wonderful eight hours at the Lufthansa First Class Terminal, it was time for the final flight from Frankfurt to Kraków. There are four daily flights from Frankfurt to Kraków during the summer and only three during the winter, however the flight I always take is available the whole year.

When I arrived at the First Class Terminal, I asked my personal assistant if I could be driven to the aircraft in a Porsche, she said she would do her best to accommodate my request and in the meantime, I should relax while Lufthansa takes care of the rest.

At about 16:00, my personal assistant informed me my flight is ready for boarding and guided me to the lower level of the First Class Terminal, where the very fancy cars are. The agent checking my boarding pass jokingly said “my colleague said you wanted to drive the Porsche..?” and he literally handed me a key for all of two seconds. Obviously he was joking and we all had a good laugh.

My flight to Kraków was operated by an Airbus A319, and was leaving from gate B10; the ride from the First Class Terminal was a bit longer than if the aircraft was leaving from Pier A.

After taking some awesome pictures with the Porsche, my driver guided me onto the A319 and introduced me to the crew. They were very happy to have me on the flight and mentioned they will get me home as quickly as possible. There were only two other people booked in Business Class and we each had our own row. Business Class consisted of three rows on this flight.

We pushed back a few minutes prior to scheduled departure time and made it to runway 18 shortly thereafter, where we took off and made a sharp turn towards Kraków. At this point I was so full from the good food at the First Class Terminal that I declined the snack and instead simply had some tea and relaxed for the remainder of the flight.

The total flight time was just over an hour and we landed about twenty minutes ahead of schedule in Kraków. My luggage was one of the first to be unloaded (thanks to the HON Priority tags) and about fifteen minutes after landing, I was already heading home with my family.

All in all, a great intra-European flight in Business Class and I was finally happy to be home after a 27+ hour journey from Seattle. So far I’ve had an awesome time with the family and looking forward to an amazing Christmas starting tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone, I wish you all the best.

Safe travels!
