Today, Cathay Pacific opened their latest lounge at Hong Kong International Airport – The Deck, which is accessible to First and Business Class passengers as well as oneworld frequent flyers. The new lounge is located in Terminal 1, on level 7 near gate 16 and is open daily from 05:30 until last departure. The Deck will be an addition to five other lounges Cathay Pacific currently operates in Hong Kong.
To celebrate the opening of The Deck, Cathay Pacific has just released a new video ad.. and I think it is absolutely brilliant.
The video ad shows exactly why people like us go to the airport hours before our flights… to simply relax in the lounges. I love how the beginning of the ad shows as if they were late for their flight, but end up in the lounge way ahead of schedule. Love it! Cathay Pacific has incredible lounges in Hong Kong and this new lounge will be another great addition.. it is hard to select which lounge to go to at HKG!
The Deck lounge features cocktails and sunset views from The Terrace, an open-air veranda with views of the tarmac and terminal, and Cathay’s signature Noodle Bar – where you can treat yourself to exquisite regional and Asian dishes.
The Deck lounge joins Cathay’s other incredible lounges in Hong Kong where travellers can truly unwind and relax before their flight. As with other CX lounges in Hong Kong, I’m sure this one will be spectacular and I can’t wait to further experience a Life Well Travelled.
