Bonjour! I’ve spent this past weekend in Paris with gorgeous weather of 20-22 degrees C, which I find the most pleasing for walking around and exploring. The main reason why I decided to fly to Paris last weekend was because I found some great hotel deals right in the city centre and also because, well, I hadn’t been to Paris yet.
So how was it? Freaking beautiful. Seriously – it was amazing and I still can’t believe I hadn’t been to Paris in all of my 22 years of life. I was being a typical tourist for two days and spent the days walking around and just looking at the gorgeous monuments and landmarks. Naturally, I also went to the Musée du Louvre and even though I hate going to museums, I actually enjoyed this one – after all it is one of world’s most important ones.
Beyond that, I tried some typical French food and found the prices to be quite average for one of the world’s most visited cities. The weather was really on my side and it was perfect for both days and the sun was out for most of the day. All in all, Paris is gorgeous and while it was incredible to visit for the first time… I think London will always be my #1. There’s just something about London that makes the city special and it will always be in my heart. That being said, Paris is awesome too and much to my surprise, there wasn’t that may tourists this past weekend – so I’d say end of September is one of the nicer times to visit since the weather is still nice and it isn’t too crowded.
