Assalamu alaykum from Qatar! I flew to Doha from Frankfurt yesterday in Lufthansa First Class, of course. The flight was excellent as usual and now I’m relaxing in Doha. This morning when I went to the beach (which was mostly empty), I hear German… I turn around and who do I see? The Lufthansa Crew from my flight!
The Lufthansa Crew was excellent and the flight was incredible.. even though it was short at only 5.5 hours, everything was amazing as usual. The food was delicious and the crew was phenomenal. This morning I decided to head to the beach at my hotel and I spotted the Lufthansa Crew speaking German and I went up to the First Class flight attendant and thanked her again for the incredible flight. At first, she didn’t recognise me (I was only wearing swim shorts), but then she of course thanked me for my loyalty and said it was a pleasure.
The hotel I’m staying at is quite fancy and I’ve gotten an incredible room.. so Lufthansa is treating their crews very nicely! As far as Doha goes, so far I’m having an incredible time. I’ve met up with Elena, the Muslim Travel Girl, and she is giving me a proper tour of Doha. It’s always nice to have friends all over the world. The only complaint I have is that it is hot outside – literally 45 degrees. I know that it is peak summer, but still. The ocean feels like a bath – it is hard to stay in it for more than 5 minutes.
My trip continues tomorrow as I fly to Asia – flying Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner in Business Class, which features an awesome 1-2-1 configuration. I redeemed 45k Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, since the flight is just under 5k miles. I earned Cathay Pacific Asia Miles from some incredible Travel Rewards Credit Cards, Hotel Rewards Credit Cards, and generally any Point Rewards Credit Cards that can transfer to Asia Miles.
