This year was truly an amazing year for me – in terms of many things such as new experiences, new people, new places, travelling, etc. I’ve visited many new and old countries and have flown over 100k miles. I was able to try a number of new airlines, visit some incredible destinations, experience new lounges, and stay at world-class hotels.
While I mainly reflected over the previous year a few posts ago, I just wanted to take the time and let everyone know my favourites from this year. These include favourite flight, lounge, hotel, and destination that I was able to experience in the past year.
2015 was the year of trips, I took at least three each month. The year started off with an incredible trip to visit Mexico (my favourite country), continued with a trip through Europe, the Middle East, and ended with a wonderful Christmas in Poland with my family (just to name a few trips).
Here is a list of the trips I’ve written about on my blog, the actual number of trips I’ve taken this year is much higher, but I just haven’t gotten around to publishing those “mini” trip reports:
Last Aeroplan 62.5k in Lufthansa First Class to Europe
A Visit (to the) HOM (House of Miles)
24+ Hours in Los Angeles
Flying the A380 in Lufthansa First Class
10 Days – England, Scotland, and Iceland
Two Days in Warsaw

A Weekend in la Ciudad de México
Last Golden Mileage Run in United First Class
A Weekend in New York City

While you can read each individual trip report by clicking above, below are my favourites from 2015.
Favourite Flight: Lufthansa First Class A380 Frankfurt to San Francisco
Favourite Lounge: Lufthansa First Class Terminal Frankfurt and Porsche Transfer
Favourite Hotel: Park Hyatt New York
Favourite Destination: Iceland
Thanks to everyone for a great year – the blog has grown tremendously this year and the page views/unique visitors more than tripled from last year. I really appreciate all of you reading and commenting, I can see that the more I publish, the more interest there is.
I will be back shortly with more trip reports and such. I hope everyone has a wonderful new year full of exciting experiences and amazing travel moments.
