It has been reported that Lufthansa is set to introduce a new colour for their logo along with new livery. The new livery should focus more on white and blue rather than yellow, as it currently does. Personally, I love everything about the airline and their current livery is simple yet elegant so I don’t know how much of a change they will be making.. I have seen some concepts of the new logo and a combination of white and blue looks really nice.
If Lufthansa would like to remove the yellow from the livery and logo, I assume the tail of the aircraft will be a white logo on a blue background – which would look really sexy. The sharp white colour would nicely match the blue background on the tail and the text above the windows.
While Lufthansa’s yellow/blue logo and livery is iconic, we have seen several airlines change up their livery in the past few years and Lufthansa has been making a ton of changes recently and therefore they feel the need to provide an updated look. As long as the new look will be simple and not too different from the current one, it will work and it should provide a new, fresh Lufthansa.
Lufthansa was recently recognised as a five-star airline, which could also be a factor for the several changes. All in all, I can’t wait to see the new colours the German airline will utilise throughout their product and marketing.
