Continuing my mini-series from yesterday, today I bring you a few photos from my THAI First Class B747 flight from Bangkok to Sydney. THAI Airways has a few different First Class products, so I was lucky that my Boeing 747 featured the somewhat updated First Class (though it is already showing age).

The flight was about nine hours total, and while THAI has great service, the food wasn’t the best. It isn’t that it was Thai food or anything, but it was just regular western food and it didn’t taste the best. It definitely was edible, but I didn’t eat much throughout the flight. The service was excellent and the flight attendants and purser were spectacular. They constantly looked after me and checked to see if I needed anything multiple times.

Now the part that I didn’t like the most – 2.5 hours before landing: bright lights in the cabin and a loud “Good Morning!!!!” from the flight attendants. Followed by an immediate breakfast service, which was concluded 1.5 hours before landing… seriously?! Just when I fell asleep, they begin the breakfast service. I also didn’t really have an option to decline it, since they set the table with everything before I was able to properly wake up. This was the only “real” thing I didn’t like about the flight, everything else was great.

Trip report coming soon, but first, a few photos:
