I’m currently enjoying one more month of summer before I fly back to Seattle for my final year of uni. I’m planning on flying SWISS First on the B777 to LAX in a few weeks or so, so be sure to stay tuned for an awesome review of that flight.
I’ve decided to be creative with my class schedule and it looks like I will only have class on Monday and Wednesday. Yeah, I will be stuck inside from 08:30 – 16:30 each day, but I consider it worthwhile since I will have three days of no class… that means travel!
As crazy as it sounds, I want to fly to Europe a few times at least in October and/or November. I will be back again in December for Christmas with my family in Poland, but I want to fly a few times before… and the main reason being: try as many new Business Class products as possible.
First Class is getting boring.. I know, I know.. but how many times can I fly Lufthansa First Class.. as much as it pains me to say it, it is becoming a bit boring… therefore I’ve decided to mix it up and fly to European cities for 2-4 days over the weekend a few times, and fly a different Business Class each time. I’m a miles/points blogger so I need to review as many new airlines as possible, after all!
So what airlines do I have in mind? Well, for one, Star Alliance has a ton of great Business Class products that I want to try out. oneworld doesn’t really have anything great from America to Europe, so they aren’t going to be an option.. unless I want to try BA’s strange Club World… So here is a list of what I definitely will be flying:
- Air Canada (B787 Business Class)
- Austrian Airlines (B767 or B777 Business Class)
- Brussels Airlines (A330 Business Class)
- LOT Polish Airlines (B787 Business Class)
- SAS Scandinavian Airlines (A330 Business Class)
- SWISS (B777 or A330 Business Class)
I have a ton of Star Alliance miles at the moment, so redeeming them isn’t going to be difficult. I will try to redeem through Aeroplan on airlines that Aeroplan doesn’t impose fuel surcharges on (Air China, Brussels Airlines, EgyptAir, Ethiopian, EVA Air, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, Turkish, United Airlines), and the rest either through United or some other airline.
I’m super excited about flying with Austrian the most, I can’t wait to try their coffee from the coffee menu. I honestly feel like the hype about First Class is dying down and Business Class is now where it is at… That’s because some Business Class products are almost as good as First Class once was.
Who is excited?!
