Before you comment the obvious, Etihad, please read the entire post! So.. I have already booked Melbourne to Abu Dhabi in Etihad First on the A380. But now another option is upon me – A380 First Class: Etihad or Qatar from the Middle East to Europe for 40k AAdvantage miles?
Most of the A380 First Class products are amazing and perhaps Etihad’s is the best in the world, that being said, I do want to try as many new airlines as possible this year and I just can’t make up my mind if I should fly Etihad First on the A380 from Abu Dhabi to London or Qatar Airways First Class from Doha to either London or Paris on their A380.
One part of me wants to experience a new product – so Qatar First would be an obvious choice… but, but.. from what I have read, Qatar First on the A380 is no where near as good as Etihad’s A380 First experience. So while, I will already have a 14 hour flight in Etihad First on the A380, I just can’t make up my mind what to fly from the Middle East to Europe.
I mean I’m obviously leaning towards another flight in Etihad First… it is just such an amazing product and the fact that the cost will go up soon makes me want to book it even more. But, I also do want to experience more new airlines this year and I really also want to try Qatar First on the A380. The flight will be only about ~7 hours, so not really enough time to “maximise” the experience, but it still would be cool to fly Etihad First on the A380 twice…
I’m really looking for some guidance, I have both reservations on hold that are set to expire in a few days… Please help. #FirstWorldProblems
