Lufthansa First Class is a remarkable way to fly. Lufthansa’s First Class features eight luxurious seats on their A333s, A346s, A388s, and B748s. Their A343s and B744s don’t have first class and operate on routes where First Class isn’t a huge demand.
I absolutely love Lufthansa First Class and have flown it on several routes this year including:
In about a week or so, I will be yet again flying Lufthansa First Class on the Boeing 747-8i, so another new Lufthansa First Class to experience for me. After that flight, I will only need to fly First Class on Lufthansa’s A340-600 to have experienced their First Class on all of their aircraft. The A333 and A346 First Class is very similar, the A388 is unique because it is on the upper deck and features massive lavatories along with personal lockers. The B748i First Class is located in the nose of the airplane, which makes that configuration a bit special. They had First Class on the upper deck of the B744, but unfortunately they have removed that configuration as of last summer, which is a shame since it was my favourite.
Lufthansa First Class has a fantastic turndown service and perhaps it may be one of the best ever. The lie-flat seat is incredibly comfortable and their bedding is absolutely amazing, I sleep better in Lufthansa First Class than in my own bed. The soothing motion of the aircraft rocks you gently to sleep while you fade away into the Symphony of Angels.
Anyway, while browsing YouTube, I found an awesome video recorded by someone of the Lufthansa First Class turndown service on the Boeing 747-8i:
The video shows the entire First Class turndown service and it’s awesome, I simply cannot wait until later this week when I will be experiencing First Class on the B748i! There’s no better way to fly!
