The new Alaska Airlines Board Room at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is set to open tomorrow at the airport’s North Satellite.
The North Satellite primarily serves Alaska Airlines operations and is actually set to be remodelled in the next few years along with a new, rooftop Alaska lounge in the future, so this lounge is a temporary one.
The other Board Room is located near gate D1 close to Alaska’s C and D gates. The main issue was with accessing the lounge when departing from the N gates since you had to leave a bit earlier and take the train to the North Satellite, this new lounge should fix this and also the crowding problems at the Board Room due to Alaska’s generous access policy (those travelling in Alaska First Class have access and so do Priority Pass members).
The new, temporary Alaska Airlines Board Room is located between gates N1 and N2. I will be there tomorrow, on opening day, so there will be a review with photos soon. I’m really excited about a new Board Room in the North Satellite as I’m flying with Alaska Airlines more and more on short routes from Seattle.. using BA Avios, of course. The majority of my flights have departed from the N gates, so it has been a pain to have to run from the Centurion Studio in the B gates. Overall, the video shows the lounge’s nice, modern, new design and I’m excited what Alaska Airlines plans for the future in terms of expansion of the North Satellite.
