Last week I posted about how I found out that the AMEX Centurion Studio in Seattle is supposed to open late summer 2015 and will be located by gate B3. I was flying on Friday and therefore I decided to visit the B3 gate area and see if I can spot where the lounge is going to be.. well it is kind of obvious since there is a huge sign on the construction wall on the opposite side of B3.

Here’s what it looks like:

Basically there is a white construction wall and there are two doors (which were locked) that lead inside. There is also an alcohol approval permit notice or something like that.

Now, I was flying to San Francisco and visited the lounge there the same day and I talked with multiple lounge agents in the lounge about the Centurion Studio Seattle and they all told me it would be opening early summer 2015. Looks like the agents in San Francisco were told it would open early summer, I assume they mean late June early July? It wasn’t just one agent that told me this information, all of the agents I spoke with gave me the same answer. Let’s say that it will open early July – that leaves two weeks in April, May, and June to finish building the lounge, is that possible? There was a tiny crack between the doors and I looked and inside it was empty – your typical construction site, no anything except some machines and a large empty room. Is it possible to build it in the time we have left? It will be a small lounge so therefore it totally might happen in the next few months.
