After re-checking my bag, considering, I had 4+ hours to kill, I decided to walk around Los Angeles airport as it was a beautiful, cloudless day.

Later I ended up going to the United Club in Terminal 7 and got some work done, with 10 minutes to boarding, I headed to the gate. We actually boarded on-time however we sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes until we were clear to take-off because of all the delays flying to San Francisco.

Since this was an Airbus A320, it had United’s WiFi service onboard. The cost was $3.99 for this 1 hour flight.

Comparing the A320 to the B737, I prefer the A320 for a variety of reasons. One of them being slightly more legroom than the B737, and the A320 is more spacious. The overhead bins are higher and it feels like there is more room in the cabin.

This is what I mean by ‘more’ space, doesn’t it seem more open and spacious?

We took off 30 minutes late but I was still able to enjoy the nice sunset from the plane.

I also figured I’d try out the WiFi and while it remained connected, it was somewhat slow. It took over a minute to download my email and to send a picture to Facebook.

Within about an hour we made it back to San Francisco and I still had two hours to spare before my final flight of the day to Mexico City. Overall the mini mileage run was a success as even though there were delays, I still was able to make all of my flights.
